Kanda Consulting is delighted to announce that Ciron Edwards has been appointed as Director of Kanda Place. Ciron will lead on expanding Kanda’s exemplary community engagement, working with developers, place-makers and communities throughout the development process with a focus on maximising social value through co-production/ co-design.
Ciron’s architectural background and knowledge provides him with a unique set of skills to effectively communicate design rationale to a wide range of audiences and work with design teams to effectively respond to feedback. His work aims to positively impact people’s lives and create lasting social value through co-design, creative engagement, community capacity building, meanwhile uses, public art, and school-based activities for young people.
Ciron has over 20 years’ experience of working with local communities on a range of built environment projects. His extensive experience includes the delivery of community consultation and stakeholder engagement on some of London’s largest and most high-profile projects including the world’s largest public art project, planning policy, estate regeneration, brownfield redevelopment, schools and community facilities. He has successfully delivered for the GLA, LLDC, various London borough’s, Lendlease, Argent, St William, the British Library and many other private and public-sector bodies.
