Kanda has appointed Allan Andrews as a Director to lead the development of its Midlands offer, strengthening its support for clients across property and regeneration, healthcare and life sciences.
Allan brings extensive experience in public affairs, local government and regional policy. He served for seven years as Senior Adviser to former West Midlands Mayor Andy Street and spent 13 years as a Coventry city councillor, including serving on the Planning Committee.
His background combines political insight with practical knowledge of how decisions are made, relationships are built and projects progress. His appointment strengthens Kanda’s ability to help clients navigate planning and policy, engage with communities and decision-makers, and advance their commercial objectives.
Allan and the team will focus on growing Kanda’s presence across the East and West Midlands, drawing on expertise across the business to deliver public affairs, government relations, communications and community engagement support.
