We’re thrilled to have made a number of senior appointments and promotions as we bolster our leadership team and the breadth of experience on offer to clients.
Kaylene Oliveira has joined us as Director, Strategic Comms where she will be driving growth of our corporate communications offer to clients. She brings more than 15 years’ agency and client-side experience specialising in delivering corporate communications programmes for clients in the built environment. In addition to Kaylene, Ciron Edwards has also joined as Director, Place, where he will lead on expanding our placemaking and community engagement expertise, working with developers and place-makers to maximise social value to communities. With a background in architecture, Ciron brings more than 20 years’ experience, working with local communities on a range of built environment projects.
Alongside the two new hires, we have also promoted Adam McLaren to the position of Director and John Greenshields to the role of Director, Digital and Data. Both have been with Kanda since 2018, supporting clients in navigating challenging planning applications and developing creative programmes to engage communities and political stakeholders to support regeneration and local development plans. Along with the wider leadership team, Adam and John will be continuing to drive growth for Kanda with integrated communications programmes for key clients.
The new hires follow a period of significant growth for Kanda. While the pandemic was a challenging period for many agencies, our revenues have seen real growth and our team has grown from 20 in 2020 to more than 55 today.
Karen Alcock, Managing Director, comments: “I am absolutely thrilled to welcome these new hires and appointments to our leadership team. Over the past six years, we’ve established ourselves as the go to agency for clients operating in the built environment as evidenced by some big brands which include Native Land, Berkeley Group, Landsec and British Land to name just a few. Kanda is a fully integrated agency offering a range of solutions to clients in the sector, from planning and engagement expertise to strategic communications, digital and creative collateral and community outreach as well as community placemaking strategy. This holistic formula has proved hugely popular amongst clients, resulting in record year on year growth for our agency over the last three years. Our new leadership team heralds a refining of our offer and will ensure that we continue to evolve and offer best in class advice and strategy to everyone we work with.”
