Alex is a graduate from the University of Nottingham with a degree in Politics. As a sitting councillor on Southend-on-Sea Borough Council, he has a deep understanding of local government matters. He is also the Chairman of the Rochford & Southend East Conservative Association. Between 2015 and 2018, Alex worked in Westminster as Parliamentary Assistant to Dr Thérèse Coffey MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for the Environment, and before that worked for James Duddridge, Member of Parliament for Rochford & Southend East.
At Kanda, Alex focuses primarily on out of London Local Authorities as well as Conservative controlled Local Authorities where he undertakes public consultation and stakeholder engagement. Alex is driven by meaningful engagement and ensuring that key stakeholders’ voices are heard. Passionate about the regeneration of London, Alex loves helping to provide built environments where local communities can be proud to live and work and that complement the wider area.
