Mark has over a decade’s experience working in politics and communications, including in property development public affairs, local government, Parliament, charities and pressure groups. He was as a councillor in Lambeth, representing a ward under intense development pressure, serving on the Planning Committee, serving on the Vauxhall Nine Elms Battersea Strategy Board, and gaining substantial experience of housing, regeneration and planning issues. Over the past five years he has provided political and community engagement advice to property development clients, including two years working directly in agencies managing client accounts.
Mark is passionate about building new homes, having experienced the reality of London’s housing crisis as a local councillor. He believes that every new home that Kanda helps wins consent for is a step towards addressing that housing crisis.
