Yiannis is a Director at Kanda specialising in the central London property market, with particular expertise in the City of Westminster. He provides strategic political counsel, policy insight and stakeholder engagement advice to clients navigating complex planning, development and public policy challenges. Known for his rigorous, evidence-led approach, Yiannis leads much of Kanda’s policy analysis work, translating political and economic developments into clear, commercially focused advice.

Yiannis has advised a wide range of high-profile clients and leads several of Kanda’s key accounts, including Shaftesbury Capital, the Heart of London Business Alliance and Qatari Diar. His work spans major development and regeneration projects, corporate public affairs and policy advocacy, with a particular focus on the issues shaping central London’s future, including planning, licensing, economic growth and the visitor economy.

Before joining Kanda, Yiannis worked in finance and at the Electoral Commission. He holds degrees from the London School of Economics and the University of Cambridge, where his academic work focused on political economy, local governance and the relationship between political institutions and economic performance. He is particularly passionate about combining detailed analysis with political insight to help clients manage risk, identify opportunities and achieve their long-term ambitions.
