Following the recent announcement of Kanda’s merger with Concilio, we are pleased to share a further strengthening of our offer.

Tim Donovan, former BBC London Political Editor, is joining Kanda as a Political Advisor.

Tim brings over 30 years’ experience covering London politics, providing a deep and practical understanding of how decisions are made across City Hall, boroughs and the wider political landscape.

His career has spanned some of the most significant periods of political change in the capital – offering a perspective that is both long‑term and grounded in real‑world delivery.

As London moves into a more fragmented and complex political environment, Tim will work closely with the Kanda team to strengthen our insight and analysis. While not client‑facing, he will play a key role in shaping our thinking, supporting our teams, and contributing to our broader thought leadership.

This builds on Kanda’s continued investment in providing clear, credible advice at the intersection of planning, politics and delivery.

Karen Alcock, Founder and CEO of Kanda Consulting, said:

“We’re delighted to be working with Tim. His insight into how London politics works is second to none. As the landscape becomes more fragmented, that clarity is more valuable than ever.”

Tim Donovan, Political Advisor of Kanda Consulting, said:

“Who knew town hall politics could get quite so interesting.  There’s a lot to explore, and I am very pleased to get the opportunity to link up with Kanda to navigate this new, unfamiliar landscape.”

Tim will also be joining us as headline speaker at The Swing Seat on Thursday 14 May, offering a chance to hear his perspective on London’s evolving political landscape.
