About the role

Our eyes and ears: Our Account Executives primary role is to prepare first versions of client collateral, monitor the political environment and flag emerging external issues effectively and quickly to the wider Kanda team.

Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Undertake stakeholder research and mapping
  • Support to team on graphic outputs – maps, reports, exhibition boards, infographics
  • Exhibition design, co-ordination and liaising with designers
  • AI: Following Kanda’s AI code of conduct, use AI tools to enhance creativity and efficiency while maintaining a deep commitment to ethical standards, data security and in-person engagement.
  • In line with agreed Kanda processes for specific outputs (i.e. Kanda SCI), produce reports and documents in specified formats to support the use of AI tools. Always checking for quality control when drafting any outputs using AI tools.
  • Prepare draft communications materials e.g. letters, newsletters, website content   
  • Prepare draft templates to prepare political analysis, this may be an audit or issue note
  • Prepare political & community reports ready for client circulation
  • Assisting in the organisation of public exhibition events including visiting and booking venues, distribution maps, Q&As and rolling out the agreed stakeholder contact programme
  • Compile and update stakeholder lists
  • Responsible for recording all estimated and actual time on Asana, against internal and client project work, allocating time in planning ahead workstreams to understand capacity and resourcing requirements
  • Act as a Kanda ambassador, reflecting the values of the business internally and externally (Inclusivity, Openness, Collaboration, Creativity and Integrity)
  • Managing all InCopy texts edits and liaising with the studio team to ensure all edits have synced with the design files
  • Ensure compliance to GDPR, proactively liaising with the GDPR controller (Studio and Operations Manager) with any initial queries
  • Attendance at out-of-hours meetings and events on an ad hoc basis to support with project deliverables

Kanda role

  • Actively contribute towards Kanda marketing initiatives, sharing and inputting into social media content and attendance at events etc.
  • Timely delivery of all business administrative responsibilities e.g. timesheets, expenses, providing feedback for reviews etc.
  • Participate in Kanda new business activity; research, drafting proposals, brainstorms and meetings
  • Develop key relationships with in-house studio team and be respectful of their time

How to apply

This is a full-time, permanent role, 37.5 hours per week.  Subject to a five-month probationary period.

Starting salary £28,860 in line with the London Living Wage (depending on experience).
